Is it safe to tape my mouth closed for a night of wearing a nasal CPAP machine?
I had no success with my nasal CPAP machine, and I always wake up with dry mouth. I am thinking it is open during the night, which is something that has not happened in my sleep CPAP initial testing. Are there safe methods to keep your mouth closed over into new equipment (chin, full face)?
First Add a heated humidifier. I've heard of people recording their mouths, but I would not recommend it. I used the full face mask for three months and learn to sleep with my mouth closed. Also try a ramp of pressure. Best wishes.
